London - Cologne 2016

London - Cologne 2016

27 cyclists (4 women and 23 men) set off together from Windsor Castle west of London to Cologne Cathedral. They came from Germany, England and Indonesia and were between 15 and 72 years old.

The longest stage was about 140 km long, the shortest 100 km, the shortest for that with the steepest climbs right at the beginning of the tour from Windsor Castle to the south until just before the channel coast in Arundel.

We continued along the coast via Hastings to Dover, from there we took the ferry to Calais, continued via Boulogne sur Mer, Lille, Mechelen, Valkenburg to Cologne and finally to the cathedral plateau.

Thanks to DHL, the tour was once again accompanied by a catering van and two trucks, which took care of transporting the luggage and storing the bikes at night.

The cycled routes can be viewed and downloaded here.
